Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation

The Regional Conference on Solid State Science and Technology (RCSSST) will be held as a hybrid conference. The details of oral presentation as per follow:

  1. Oral presentation will be conducted in parallel sessions  
  2. MS PowerPoint format is used to prepare the slide.
  3. Please follow the instruction for oral preparation:
    • All presentation should be prepared in English.
    • First slide must include TITLE, NAME, INSTITUTION and PROFILE PICTURE.
    • Maximum duration of the presentation is 10 MINUTES and 5 MINUTES for Q&A session.
    • All presenter needs to be ready 10 minutes before the allocated slot.
    • Your filename should be named as: PresenterID.
    • Please upload the Microsoft Powerpoint slide via CLICK UPLOAD ORAL PRESENTATION SLIDE. This file will be stored inside computer at the physical parallel session. 

Online Oral Presentation

The details for online presenter as per follow:

  1. Oral presentation for online participant will be conducted in form of pre-recorded video.
  2. The video presentation should be submitted BEFORE 31 August 2024.
  1. You can use MS PowerPoint slide to prepare the presentation video.
  2. Please follow the instruction for video preparation:
    • All presentation should be prepared in English.
    • First slide must include TITLE, NAME, INSTITUTION and PROFILE PICTURE.
    • Videos should contain a prominent view of the presentation slides along with audio and face of the spoken presentation.
    • Maximum duration of video presentation is 10 MINUTES and 5 MINUTES for Q&A session.
    • File Format: MPEG-4 (.mp4) (use standard H.264 video and AAC audio codecs).
    • Video Size: HD (or use other “720p” settings).
    • Audio Quality: Audio commentary and the content of the slides must be clearly presented.
    • Online background of RCSSST2024.

      5. Your video filename should be in the following format: Presenter ID.mp4.

      6. To upload your video, please use our Google Drive Submission Form via CLICK UPLOAD ONLINE ORAL PRESENTATION VIDEO RECORDING.

E-Poster Presentation

  1. Posters should include a good combination of words, pictures, and graphics. They should include the results and conclusions of the papers, but authors are suggested to avoid including too much text in it.
  2. Please follow the instructions for e-posters preparation:
    • Poster should be written ONLY in English language.
    • Please use this E-POSTER template (CLICK TO DOWNLOAD)
    • Title of the E-Poster (should be brief and match with the submitted full paper).
    • Names and affiliations of all authors (each author to be marked with superscript Arabic number (such as 1, 2) with their corresponding institute affiliation and their addresses.
    • The logo of the affiliated institution/university should be placed on the upper left-hand corner, whilst the first author’s color photograph (passport style) should be placed on the upper right-hand corner of the poster.
    • All posters will be set in portrait style orientation (and all information (i.e. text, data, photos, and figures) must be designed to appear within one window/slide.
    • Font size: ≥16.
    • File format: Required format (jpg).
    • If you design your E-Poster in PowerPoint (PPT), ALL information must be appeared within ONE (1) slide only. Save your PPT into jpg format.
    • The poster must be included the voice record file in an MP3 format containing a brief explanation of the poster.
    • The voice recording MUST NOT exceed 3 (THREE) minutes.
    • Make sure the audio is at the proper level without adjusting the volume to very high or very low.
    • Please upload the jpg and MP3 file via CLICK UPLOAD E-POSTER PRESENTATION HERE in this website BEFORE 31 August 2024.
  3. Content of your e-poster presentation should have :
    • Research (Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion, References and Acknowledgment).
    • Contact details (optional), so that interested delegates may contact you.
    • Data must be given in units that are generally accepted in scientific publications (international metric system is preferred)
